This provision is good Children are happy and enjoy their time at the club.

They quickly become engaged in their chosen activities and concentrate for prolonged periods of time. Children form good relationships with staff and each other. Older children support those that are younger, for example, as they help to serve themselves snack.

They work collaboratively together as they build train tracks and play with dough. Children demonstrate confidence in their communication skills. They are extremely happy to share their daily experiences and achievements from school with their peers, staff and visitors.

Staff share information about children's daily activities wit...h parents. The manager evaluates the quality of the provision and identifies improvements she would like to make. Children's views are sought as they record their favourite activities in a special feedback book.

This displays a commitment to enhancing the provision further and demonstrates how the manager seeks the views of others. It is not yet outstanding because: The recently implemented process for staff supervision is not yet highly effective in developing staff's practice further. Staff do not make the most of the good links with the school to identify ways in which to complement children's experiences and interests in the club.
