Staff provide well-planned activities and learning opportunities based on children's interests. Resources are of good quality, easily accessible and children are busy and engaged in a wide range of activities. Children are challenged and stimulated very well by staff.

They are very well prepared for the next stage in their learning. Staff know children very well through their observations and from information obtained from parents. This helps staff to build on children's learning from clear starting points.

Staff assess children's progress effectively and close any gaps in their learning quickly. Parents are we...ll informed about their children's progress and activities. Children settle very well at the nursery and form close relationships with staff and each other.

They are emotionally secure and staff meet their individual needs very well. Children's behaviour and manners are very good. Staff teach them to share and take turns as they play.

Children's health is very well protected and they are physically active each day. The well-motivated staff work as a strong team to monitor and evaluate the provision very effectively. There is a very strong drive for continuous improvement.

The experience and qualifications of the staff have a very positive impact on children's learning experiences. Staff maintain their professional development very effectively and share their knowledge with each other. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff have yet to find highly successful ways to guide all parents, so that a shared approach to children's learning is fully embraced.
