This provision is good Children thoroughly enjoy their time at this welcoming nursery. They are very content and look forward to coming to nursery.

Parents talk fondly of their children's key person and the care and attention they give their children. Staff nurture children to become confident and happy. They make good use of what they know about children to provide experiences which are interesting and cover all areas of learning.

This helps children to make good progress in their learning. The management team understands the importance of self-evaluation and strives for continuous progress. It has identified areas that need further development and addressed the recomme...ndations from the previous inspection.

For example, staff now use dual language books to help raise children's awareness of different languages. Staff teach communication and language skills well. They use questions effectively and help children to express themselves.

Older children hold purposeful conversations and talk about their experiences. It is not yet outstanding because: There are limited resources available outside to extend the learning of those children who learn better outdoors. The programme of professional development is not highly focused to target the development of staff to help raise the quality of practice to an outstanding level.
