This provision is outstanding The enthusiastic staff team works very well together to provide children with a highly impressive learning environment.

Staff have an excellent knowledge of how children learn and they recognise each child's needs and interests. Children make excellent progress in all areas of learning and development. Staff constantly update their safeguarding knowledge and are exceptionally confident about their responsibility to protect children.

They have an outstanding awareness of the procedures to follow should they have any concerns about children in their care. Staff teach children how to explore their feelings and they extend activities to help the...m learn to share and take turns. For example, children make superb use of sand timers to know when it is their turn and how long they will need to wait.

Staff make tremendous use of the outdoor environments. Children have excellent opportunities to exercise and learn about the world. For instance, they walk to the beach and go out and about on buses and trains to explore their community.

Staff have a highly impressive knowledge of the skills children need for their future. They have forged remarkably close links with schools, which helps to provide children with exceptional continuity of care and learning. Leaders have successfully improved the setting to an outstanding level since the last inspection.
