• Highly effective monitoring identifies where children may be slow to develop key skills so that specific programmes of support are implemented by their key person. This helps them to narrow any gaps in learning. • The managers and staff have an excellent knowledge of the requirements of the... early years foundation stage and implement this in a highly effective manner.

Staff plan extremely well to meet the interests of children. All groups of children are exceptionally well prepared for their eventual move on to school. • Highly effective partnership working leads to excellent ongoing improvements in provision.

Clearly defined strategies are in place to develop community cohesion. Staff enrich the curriculum with educational visits to the local farm, church and primary school. Children enjoy first-hand learning opportunities to discover the world around them.
