This provision is good The management and staff have a good understanding of their role and responsibility to support the safety, security and health of the children.

The provider and the acting manager actively encourage staff professional development, which has a positive impact on the care and learning children receive. Staff plan and provide a varied range of stimulating activities, indoors and outdoors, to support children's learning and development. All children progress well.

Children who speak English as an additional language are supported well by the staff, who learn words in the children's home languages to help their communication skills. The acting manager a...nd staff have worked closely with the local authority to assess the quality of their practice and to target future improvements. The provider uses a self-evaluation process well to evaluate the provision.

She demonstrates that managers have the capacity to make continuous improvements to children's outcomes. It is not yet outstanding because: Opportunities for younger children to learn about and use technology are not as well developed as other aspects of children's learning. At times, staff do not maximise opportunities to further develop children's problem-solving skills.
