They greet their friends and excitedly chat about the day ahead. Children enjoy playing team games on arrival. Staff encourage and praise participation, and all children show care and respect towards each other.

Routines are well established, and children show confidence in these. The environment is calm and friendly. Children show particular interest in outdoor play.

They thoroughly enjoy physical activity. They develop teamwork skills as they create stickmen from flowers, sticks and leaves. Children construct dens for their characters to live in and eagerly show these to staff.

Ch...ildren beam with pride as staff praise their efforts.Children seek interactions with staff, friends and visitors. Staff form strong bonds with children and support all children to thrive.

Staff are skilled and experienced in working with children. They know children well. Staff are excellent role models.

Children ask staff for advice and take confidence and comfort from their interactions. They strive to meet the high expectations staff set for behaviour and participation.Children enjoy the wide variety of activities, food tasting and team games at the club.

Staff are reflective and promote children's engagement at the camp. They skilfully adapt the experiences they provide to build on children's interests. As children participate in activities of others' choosing, staff sensitively explain that compromise is key.

Children develop skills of taking turns and promoting the happiness of others, alongside their own.Children enjoy a wide range of foods and regular food activities that provide opportunities for them to try fruits and vegetables that are new to them. Staff encourage and challenge children to participate and model the tasting experience.

Snack time routines are embedded, and mealtimes are sociable and enjoyable for children.There is a highly effective staff team. They have systems in place to manage the safety and well-being of children when they attend the club.

Staff prioritise keeping children safe. They have effective routines in place for preparing for club activities each day. They make a risk assessment of the space before children arrive.

Supervision of children is effective and helps keep them safe. Staff support children to assess risks for themselves and develop an understanding of how to minimise risk. For example, as children move outside for play, staff speak with them about the dangers of walking outside without shoes on their feet.

Children listen attentively, then choose to put their shoes back on their feet to keep themselves safe. They then explain to visitors that they must keep their shoes on so their feet are happy and don't get hurt.Staff well-being is high and contributes to the happy atmosphere at the camp.

Staff feel very well supported. They receive regular visits from camp managers and flourish in confidence and skill from the face-to-face coaching and mentoring this provides.Parents speak positively about the club.

They report that their children enjoy the activities the staff provide. Parents feel staff know their children exceptionally well and provide quality care. Parents of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities feel staff go above and beyond to gain a comprehensive understanding of their children's needs.
