The provision is good • Leaders demonstrate an uncompromising dedication to raising standards for all children. They work tirelessly to create a calm, welcoming and friendly environment where all children make progress in their learning and development.

• Staff have warm, caring relationships with the children. They get to know the children well and are sensitive to their individual physical and emotional needs. New children settle quickly and form strong bonds with key staff.

• Staff make good use of the space available to provide a varied and interesting learning environment. Children easily choose from a wide range of resources indoors and outdoors. • Children take pa...rt in a wide variety of exciting and stimulating experiences, such as yoga and trips to the woods.

Staff plan suitable activities based on a good knowledge of children's interests and abilities once they have joined the nursery. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff do not consistently obtain precise and detailed information from parents when children first join the nursery, to help them quickly and accurately assess children's learning needs. • Occasionally, staff do not maximise opportunities to challenge the most able children and further extend their learning.
