For example, they happily chat about their plans to go to each other's houses.Staff and children spend the majority of the time outside in the fresh air. Staff provide children with a range of interesting resources to develop their physical skills.

For example, children giggle as they practise skipping with friends. They show high levels of confidence as they choose... their own activities. Staff encourage their choices and give them praise.

Some children access quieter activities, such as reading books to each other and singing. They confidently and proudly sing their favourite songs.Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour.

They encourage children to be independent and solve their own problems, such as when they have minor disagreements over sharing resources. Children demonstrate they enjoy spending time with staff and each other. Older children involve younger children in their play and help them by explaining the rules of a game.
