Gregory's Playscheme opened in 1986. It is registered on the Early Years Register and the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare Register. It operates from St.

Gregory's Youth and Adult Centre in the Seacroft area of Leeds. There is an enclosed area for outdoor play. The setting serves the local area and is accessible to all children.

The setting has nine volunteers working with children. Of these, all hold appropriate early years qualifications at level 2 or above, including the manager who holds a relevant childcare degree. The setting opens Monday to Friday during most school holiday periods and sessions are from 9am until 4pm.

...Children attend for a variety of sessions. There are currently 150 on roll children, of whom 10 are in the early years age group. What the setting needs to do to improve further To further improve the quality of the early years provision the provider should: enhance the already good provision for healthy lifestyles by strengthening children's understanding of healthy eating, for example, by discussing the sugar content in food and drink.
