This provision is good Children follow good hygiene procedures. They enjoy healthy snacks and foods which help to promote their good health.

Staff provide a variety of resources for children to explore inside and outside. Children are keen to take part in activities and follow their own interests. Children have opportunities to develop their physical skills, such as when they play in the large outdoor playground.

The management and staff support children's well-being effectively. For example, staff praise them and help to build on their developing self-esteem. Children develop strong attachments with staff, who chat, talk and join in with their play.

Children ar...e cared for in a secure environment. For example, staff ensure that the door is locked and only people recognised by staff can gain entry. The management and staff have a good partnership with parents and other early years professionals.

This helps to provide consistency in children's care. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff's professional development is not clearly focused on raising the quality of practice to a consistently outstanding level across the setting. The management and staff do not always provide the best opportunities to encourage children's awareness and understanding of diversity.
