Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good The quality of teaching is good. Children experience a variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities that develop their learning well. Children are motivated to learn and make good progress in relation to what they know when they start.

Relationships between staff and children are very positive. Staff are skilled at supporting children's emotional well-being and they set clear expectations for behaviour. Children understand these and their behaviour is good.

Staff are committed to developing their expertise. For example, they attend regular training to update their knowledge and have regular staff meetings to share good practice. Leaders develop ...good partnerships with parents and other professionals, which helps to support individual children's learning needs.

Staff keep parents well informed of their children's progress. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff do not always consistently challenge children's learning, indoors and outdoors, to extend their communication and thinking skills. Assessment routines are not always effective in helping to identify those children who may need extra support for their learning.
