This provision is good The manager rigorously reviews and monitors all aspects of the nursery.

She involves staff, parents and children well, to identify areas for development. Staff have warm, caring bonds with children and are sensitive to their individual needs. Children are happy and develop a strong sense of emotional well-being.

Staff ensure parents are fully involved in their children's learning in the nursery and at home. For example, they keep parents well informed about their children's progress. Children make good progress in relation to their starting points.

Staff develop strong partnerships with other professionals, particularly to support children... who have special educational needs. This ensures children's care and educational needs are supported well. Staff manage children's move from one room to another effectively throughout the nursery.

They support them well to settle gradually and build their confidence to manage the changes and prepare for the eventual move on to school. It is not yet outstanding because: On occasion, staff do not use the assessment systems fully, to identify older children's next stages of development across all areas of learning, to better inform planning. There are limited information and communication technology resources available for children to explore and use for a range of purposes in their play.
