Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good Staff support for children's personal and emotional development is effective. The youngest children feel emotionally secure and have warm and close bonds with their key person. Older children demonstrate high levels of confidence and self-esteem, and make secure relationships with staff and other children.

The manager and staff are enthusiastic and have high expectations for all children. Staff use their qualifications and effective teaching skills to help children make good progress in preparation for the next stage of their learning and the move to school. The staff team has made significant improvements since the last inspection.

For example, th...ey consistently promote children's communication and language well. Partnership with parents is now a strong feature of the nursery and staff engage them well in a variety of ways. Children's behaviour is good.

They are polite and willingly share and take turns, often resolving minor conflicts independently. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff encourage the physical development of babies and toddlers well overall, but have not considered making it easier for them to practise their newly acquired walking skills throughout all areas of the nursery. Children who learn best outside do not have extensive opportunities to explore all areas of learning.
