Leaders are innovative, very well organised and provide an exceptionally effective provision. They actively encourage staff to develop their skills and knowledge, including through training opportunities. Well-established induction, mentoring and appraisal procedures contribute to consistently high-quality teaching.

Self-evaluation is thorough and includes the views of staff, parents, children and other professionals. It clearly indicates the staff's commitment to continually reflecting, evaluating and building on their excellen...t provision. Staff keep parents very well informed and encourage them to share their knowledge and skills to further enhance learning opportunities for the children.

Staff work exceptionally well with other professionals. They share information and contribute to plans to enhance children's development opportunities and readiness for school. The nursery is exceptionally well equipped and maintained.

A broad variety of resources are successfully set out to attract children's attention and to help them learn. Children demonstrate an excellent awareness of good hygiene and safe behaviours relevant to their age and understanding. Staff are excellent role models who encourage behaviours that promote children's health and safety.
