Summary of key findings for parents

This provision does not meet requirements • The provider has failed to fulfil their responsibility to ensure that any person working directly with the children is suitable.

They have not checked the Disclosure and Barring Service checks for all staff. • Staff have not had an induction to help them understand their roles and responsibilities. They have not received the support, coaching and training they need to ensure they provide good care and learning experiences that meet children's needs.

• The provider has failed to ensure at least one person who has a current paediatric first-aid certificate is on the premises when children are present. • The provider does not meet... the prescribed requirements for ratios to maintain children's safety and welfare. • The provider has not identified or taken steps to remove or minimise possible risks to children's safety, particularly regarding children's access to the adult toilet.

• Required documentation for the safe and efficient management of the setting, or to show how the needs of children are met, is not maintained. Some staff records are missing or incomplete. Children's confidentiality is not maintained, and staff and children's hours of attendance have not been recorded accurately.

• The provider has not kept a record of complaints and does not demonstrate an appropriate understanding of the requirement to inform Ofsted of changes effecting the provision. • Parents are not well informed or kept sufficiently up to date with their child's progress and development to play an active role in their learning. There were no children present when this inspection took place.

The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
