Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • The manager and staff keep accurate records of children's development and quickly spot any gaps, offering further support where needed.

Children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities benefit from individually tailored support. Staff run small group sessions, supporting language development and use signing to help with early communication. All children make good progress from their starting points.

• There are strong partnerships in place with parents and other professionals. Staff make very good use of the knowledge of speech and language therapists and local inclusion advisers. Parents receive regular feedback about their childre...n's development and appreciate the supportive and attentive staff.

• The manager and staff are well qualified and experienced. They create a very nurturing environment where children feel happy and secure. Staff get to know each child closely and build strong bonds early on.

They carry out home visits to meet children and families in a comfortable environment when they first attend. It is not yet outstanding because: • Although the manager supports her staff well, she does not monitor their performance as closely as she could, to help raise their good practice even further. • Staff miss some opportunities to encourage children to think creatively and develop ideas.
