This provision is good The environment and routine is organised effectively to meet the needs of children. Staff use a good range of teaching methods, which motivates children to learn and helps them make good progress from their starting points. Staff work closely with parents to get to know their children and provide good support to help close any gaps in their learning.

Children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who speak English as an additional language are supported well to help them achieve. Staff place a strong focus on helping children feel happy and safe. Staff teach children about how to keep safe and help them talk about their feelings.<...br/>
They have strong relationships with children. Staff place a clear priority on promoting children's communication and language skills. They introduce new ideas, concepts and vocabulary, and increase their listening and attention skills through a variety of activities.

Staff confidently promote children's early literacy skills through enjoyable activities. It is not yet outstanding because: The manager and staff do not make the very best use of children's assessment information to help provide highly challenging activities to help children make high rates of progress. Staff do not consistently provide a rich range of opportunities to extend children's learning even further in some aspects of their mathematical learning.
