Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good • The manager regularly seeks feedback from staff, parents and children to help inform plans for improvement. Parents recommend the nursery highly.

They say the staff help to improve children's confidence, development and social skills. • The nursery is well equipped. Staff work hard each day to set up a wide range of good quality, interesting resources that are easily accessible.

Children are confidently making choices to lead their own play. • Behaviour is good. Staff are calm and positive role models.

Children learn to play alongside one another and are supported to share and take turns. Staff regularly praise children and celebrate the...ir achievements. This helps to build their self-esteem and confidence.

• All children, including those in receipt of funding, children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and children who speak English as an additional language, are well prepared for the next stage in their learning. • Staff's professional development is not focused on raising their skills and the quality of teaching to an even higher level. • Staff do not always make the very best use of their good partnerships with parents to encourage them to share what they know about their child's learning at home.
