This provision is good Children's emotional needs are supported well. Settling-in arrangements are sensitive to children's individual requirements. Children enjoy warm relationships with the staff and other children.

Staff are calm and gentle. Adult-to-child ratios are maintained well. Children are safe and well cared for.

Staff complete thorough daily checks of the premises and resources. Staff use observations of children's achievements to identify and monitor the next steps in their progress. Children are making good progress in the learning.

Children develop good communication and language skills. For example, they have lots of opportunities to learn new lan...guage and enhance their vocabulary. Children behave well and are thoughtful towards others.

Staff are positive role models for children. They help children to take turns, share and to work collaboratively. Staff develop secure relationships with parents and other professionals.

Staff share what they know about children's development and encourage parents to share their observations of their children's learning from home. It is not yet outstanding because: Systems for sharply analysing the progress made by different groups of children are still being developed. Leaders do not fully assess and evaluate the impact of a wider range of training on the children's learning and development, to further enhance staff's skills and practice.
