Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good Good progress has been made since the last inspection. The manager, staff and committee have worked hard to address the weaknesses that were identified.

They now have a much better understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Staff and children share positive relationships. They play games together and chat about their day.

All children are included and their opinions are valued. Children enjoy the time they spend at the club. They choose from the variety of activities on offer and have fun with their friends.

Children's behaviour is very good. They are polite and courteous to all and this is as a direct result of the example staff s...et to them. It is not yet outstanding because: Although staff have developed partnerships with schools that children attend, not enough relevant information is shared so that children's experiences can be fully complemented in an appropriate way at the club.

Opportunities for children, parents, staff and the management committee to be fully involved in the self-evaluation process have not yet been fully embedded, in order to involve them all in identifying areas for improvement and to sustain the recent improvements that have been made. Although the committee have become more involved with supporting the manager, there is not always enough focus on identifying her professional development requirements. This means that sometimes, opportunities to improve the manager's knowledge and organisation skills and to increase her confidence are missed.
