Pupils with barriers to their learning, including disadvantaged pupils and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make positive progress through the curriculum from their starting points.Lea...ders have only recently begun to improve attendance and punctuality at Brentry School. Consequently, not all pupils attend as well as they should.

Despite this, pupils are happy and safe. They are proud of their welcoming school. Parents value the school's nurturing approach.

This helps pupils develop a sense of belonging. They know that staff will go the extra mile for them to help them to achieve. Staff know pupils well.

They use their understanding of pupils' aspirations and strengths to help them achieve positive outcomes.Pupils benefit from a wide range of clubs, which they enjoy. These opportunities help to develop their talents and interests.
