Locrating was very helpful when looking for schools! Useful to know the previous years catchment areas on a map to understand how likely we were to get in. Lots of good info about ofsted reports and data too.

Locrating is fantastic. You can see the map and catchment zones and can easily click on each school and get loads of information. We were looking at potentially moving home and this helped massively and put all the information we needed in one place.

We've been using Locrating extensively in the past few months while exploring where to move to with our young family. The site made it super easy to compare schools (both primary and secondary) and see socio-economic and crime ratings of an area. We visited so many of the neighborhoods and towns we checked online, and compared the info from the site to areas we know well, and this helped us understand how to translate the value from the site to what it means on the ground. After some experience it feels like you can glean loads of info from using the site! I would highly recommend it if you're trying to assess your next move and prioritise schools and safety. The cost of subscription is nothing compared to any of the costs involved in moving a house anyway.

I cannot recommend Locrating enough. We used their platform to narrow down which schools to tour and to identify which state schools were truly worth exploring. The depth of educational statistics and catchment area insights is far superior to any other tool I’ve found. It gave us the confidence to purchase our flat, knowing exactly where we stood regarding catchment risk. It’s clearly a labor of love from a dedicated family business. Couldn’t have navigated relocating our family without this website. We knew we wanted to move out of London but didn’t know where and Locrating was a HUGE help in figuring out schools. Amazing depth of data and great displays of catchment areas etc. Once we’d narrowed down our search area we also booked Mel (education consultant) to really unpick the schools/admissions situation in our chosen county. We ended up getting the kids into our first choice school and really would’ve struggled without Locrating’s help. Highly recommended

Very useful site, has all the data you need for finding a neighborhood or a school. I purchased the 3 month membership, which came with a ton of useful features and doesn't auto-renew, which is perfect for the length of a house hunt.

Great experience with Locrating. Did one month and then a rolling monthly subscription for about 6 months while researching locations quite widely across England. Now, fingers crossed, close to exchanging contracts and cancelled with ease. You can't learn everything or get the full feel without visiting, but this is about as good as I found without. Excellent details on schools, society and environment. Used the Chrome browser plugin with Rightmove and it was pretty seamless compared with accessing any of the data elsewhere. Thoroughly recommended and would use again.

Locrating was recommended to me by someone at our nursery. It is a fantastic data set that has helped us understand socio-economic data for locations and possibly more importantly, school information. We are a young family moving house and trying to figure out areas based on our lengthy criteria of usual stuff eg. Safe, good schools, commute distance etc. Locrating has been central to supporting our research. Within 5 minutes of finding a property we like we can see what the area is like, crime rates, school performance and whether the house falls within the catchment area. It has been well worth the investment :)
